Caution: Follow Candle Care Guidelines. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Trim your wicks to 5mm before each burn. Do not burn for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Candle jar will get hot. Do not burn on or near anything that can catch fire, eg. curtains or fabric. Always extinguish the candle and do not relight when the wax is less than 10mm. Keep out of direct Sunlight / UV exposure to avoid yellowing or discolouration.

How to care for your Essential Oil Candles.

1. Trim the Wick

Before lighting your essential oil candle, it is crucial you trim the wick to approximately 5mm or 1/4 inch. This helps to prevent excessive smoke, soot, and uneven burning. Use a wick trimmer or scissors to trim the wick, ensuring a clean and even cut.

2. Burn Time

When burning your essential oil candle, it is important to allow it to burn until there is a full melt pool across the top of the candle. This helps to create an even melt  pool and prevents tunnelling. For the best results, allow the candle to burn for 3-4 hours during each use.

3. Avoid Drafts

Avoid placing your essential oil candle in areas with drafts, such as open windows or fans or near fabrics like curtains. Drafts can cause uneven burning and may lead to the formation of soot. Choose a stable and draft-free location away from fabrics, for your candle to ensure a clean and consistent burn.

4. Extinguishing the Flame

When extinguishing your essential oil candle, avoid blowing out the flame. Instead, use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and then straighten it. This helps to prevent smoke and ensures a clean and smoke-free extinguishing process.

5. Storage

Proper storage is essential to maintain the quality of your essential oil candles. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This helps to preserve the fragrance and prevents the wax from melting or becoming discoloured.

6. Safety Precautions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using essential oil candles. Keep them out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from flammable materials. Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe use.

Shipping

When you place an order with us, we understand that you are eager to receive your items. We work diligently to ensure that your order is processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. For orders received before 12 Noon, we make every effort to process and dispatch all orders on the same day. 

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. This allows you to keep track of your package and estimate its arrival time. Please note that there may be potential delays due to high order volumes or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

For domestic shipping within Australia, we provide a simple flat rate shipping option of $15 for all standard orders nationwide. This includes tracking of your parcel at no extra cost. We also offer free shipping for all orders over $150.

If you are located in our area, you have the option of in-store pickup or limited local delivery. Local pickup allows you to skip the shipping fees and collect your order directly. For local delivery, we offer free contactless delivery for orders over $100 within Kinglake and its surrounds. Deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9am and 2pm. We will notify you via text message on the day of our arrival.

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer international shipping. However, if you are interested in international shipping, please contact us, and we can provide you with a quote.

Exchanges

We do not exchange for change of mind. We understand that sometimes you may need to exchange an item. If you wish to exchange a product, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item. Alternatively, we can facilitate an exchange if required.
