Born in the misty Kinglake Ranges of Victoria, Australia, Seven + Ember began with a vision to create something better than the average candle, a collection of premium Australian handmade candles beautiful to display, luxurious to burn, and consciously crafted using clean, high-quality ingredients.
Inspired by the unconditional love for her seven children, our founder set out to redefine what a luxury candle could be, designing candles that encourage calm, clarity, comfort, and connection, and helping people create homes that feel as beautiful as they smell.

Each of our collections is intentionally designed to evoke a specific feeling, calm, focus, warmth, inspiration, or comfort. Our philosophy is simple: the right scent doesn't just smell good, it makes you feel good.
Handcrafted in the Kinglake Ranges
Every Seven + Ember candle is hand-poured in small batches from our mud-brick studio in the Kinglake Ranges, just outside Melbourne. We carefully layer top, heart, and base notes to create complex, emotionally driven fragrances designed to enhance mood and atmosphere.
We use:
- Natural coconut soy wax, with no additives
- Essential oils or premium fragrance oils, depending on the collection (vegan, phthalate-free)
- Lead-free cotton wicks or FSC-certified crackling wooden wicks
- Sustainable, eco-conscious packaging
- No paraffin, palm oil, phthalates, parabens, or petroleum-based ingredients
Each ingredient is carefully selected to ensure a cleaner, longer-lasting burn with exceptional fragrance performance. Small-batch production allows us to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship, consistency, and attention to detail, something mass production cannot replicate.
Our vessels are recyclable and reusable, simply clean out the wax and repurpose your jar for continued use.
